NEW 7" EP out on Xtra Mile Recordings on Record Store Day!

Ahead of the shows, Mull Historical Society will mark Record Store Day with the April 21st release of a limited edition 7” double-A side single featuring ‘Must You Get Low’ and ‘You Can Get Better’. Produced by the Grammy-winning Dom Morley (Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson, Grinderman) and taken from ‘City Awakenings’, the two tracks on the single cover very different sides of Mull Historical Society. ‘Must You Get Low’ contrasts the highs and lows of city life set to upbeat power-pop that recalls prior Mull classics such as ‘Watching Xanadu’, while the optimistic ‘You Can Get Better’ adds experimental tangents to a breezy melody. The two tracks will be backed by ‘It Seems’, a previously unreleased recording from around the time of the 2001 debut album ‘Loss’.
