MARY'S MEAL MUSIC – Fri 29th Oct – Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow

I'm excited to announce this event which I've helped organise. It's a concert for Mary's Meals, a charity which feeds 420,000 children around the world and has its base in Argyll, Scotland (en route to Mull).
I'm performing at it (with band), Jon Fratelli (playing The Fratellis' hits and new material), Eddi Reader, Tommy Reilly, Roddy Hart, and more tbc. DJ sets will follow from the BBC's Vic Galloway among others from 11pm. I wouldn't normally attach a press release on here but I've copied it below for more info on the event and the charity. It's a music marathon for a great cause!
MALAWI
In advance of the show I'm going off to visit the charity's biggest project in Malawi, Africa. I'll attempt to blog on the experience, and will be documenting it for one of the newspapers. It should be an amazing experience to see the charity at work on the ground and get involved, and a song or two might be strummed over there too.
